Swiss Design Classic Eternit Hocker by Ludwig Walser, 1950s
About the Item
Handcrafted Eternit footstool or Hocker designed by Ludwig Walser in 1959, introduced during the horticultural exhibition in Zürich in that same year.
This footstool is considered a complement to the loop chairs by Willy Guhl, they are made of the same material and form a nice ensemble when paired. Our version originates from the 1960s, with light touches of patina that has built up over the years.
Origination: Switzerland, 1960s
Condition: Vintage with patina. Please note a small crack on the underside that has formed over the year due to weather impact. This does not impact its structure: The hocker remains stable and is ready for daily use.
