About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare vintage circa 1960s Chesterfield Gun Suite which has been fully restored to this lovely Cigar brown colour I work with Luxury Chesterfield sofas and armchairs and have done for years, the Gun suites don’t come up for sale often. They are very desirable due to the look of course but also the size, they maximise the space by having straight narrow arms, this sofa seats three very comfortable and is only 170cm wide, I have two seat club sofas listed under my other items which are 180cm wide The seat base cushions are fully leather upholstered on both sides so if the worse happens and you damage one side you can simply flip the cushion over, the internals are the original foam wadding, the leather has breath easy vents on the sides so they stay plump, I can have the internals replaced with feathers for £50 per cushion should the new owner wish The suite has been fully restored to include having the old colour stripped back, its then been hand dyed from scratch this lovely vintage cigar brown colour. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
