Italian Sling Lounge Chair w/ Rush Seating & Extendable Foot-Rest, Early 20th C.
About the Item
An Italian sling chair from the early 20th century. This antique lounge chair from Italy features a solid wood frame with beautiful hand-rolled rushing about the seat and back. The wood chair frame has a gently scalloped crest rail at back, which is repeated in the front seat rail, gracefully down-sloped arms, and squared legs which are braced with a plain box-stretcher. A wood board footrest is housed beneath the seat, and can be pulled/extended outward, to add approximately 21 inches of platform space for lounging. This antique Italian sling chair with rushing would be the perfect way to introduce an element of rustic and casual charm within your living space.
