Late 19th Century English Reclining Chair

About the Item

1870s English recliner. This is a delightful example of a pre-modern reclining lounge chair with full functionality intact. A testament to late 19th-century English craftsmanship and design, the turned mahogany framework features an adjustable back and adjustable slide-out footrest. The seat, arm-pads, and footrest have been newly reupholstered with a flax-colored Belgian linen. England, circa 1870 Dimensions: 65W x 23D x 40H
