The armchair’s silhouette is characterized by a low-reclined structure with distinctive sweeping, sculptural lines, a hallmark of the Art Deco movement. The piece is reminiscent of the work of French designer Lucie Renaudot, featuring a seamless, continuous arc that extends from the front base to the rear, elegantly forming both the armrests and legs. A comparable model by Renaudot was showcased at the 1929 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in Paris, France. Besides its visually dramatic appeal, the framework provides structural stability, distributing the load evenly across the frame. The seating angle is designed for a relaxed lounging posture, with a gently reclined backrest and a deep seat base that supports the body. The darkened color of the wooden arches accentuates the dynamic curve, while the high-quality mohair in a striking ocher yellow color contributes to the chair's warm and luxurious appearance.
