• Model 6250R most comfortable chair is named after the year in which it was designed 1962 by G Plan. It was marketed as "The World's Most Comfortable Chair".
• It is an iconic design, recognised as one of the great modern pieces of furniture
• Possibly one of the most famous chairs ever to be captured on celluloid, the 6250 was supervillain Blofeld’s chair in the Bond movie You Only Live Twice (1967), Blofeld uses the chair in the control center of his Volcano lair in Japan. Similar or the same model chairs can also be seen in Goldfinger (1963) in Goldfinger's private jet that brings James Bond (Sean Connery) and Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) to the United States. A 6250 chair can also be seen in the Beatles film Help! (1965), where it's part of the furniture in the Beatles house. At some point in the film, John Lennon sits in the chair playing a guitar.

Original Eames Lounge chair produced by Herman Miller. This is what many would describe as a second generation chair as it features cushions filled with a mix of feather down and latex. Later chairs produced after 1971 featured foam cushion.
The feather and Latex cushions are incredibly comfortable and in our opinion far superior to the later chairs produced with foam cushions. Not only are the feather and latex cushion much more comfortable to sit on they also take on a beautiful wrinkled aesthetic which is what Charles and Ray intended when they designed this chair.
This particular chair is a beautiful example offered in excellent condition. The chair exhibits only very mild wear for its age and is completely original with no replacement parts. Chairs of this vintage...
