Pace Collection Argenta Lucite Chairs in Italian Leather

About the Item

A pair of vintage Argenta Lucite chairs from Pace. These two, are completely reupholstered and refinished with smooth black calfskin leather, which includes the supportive under-straps. They are later Mid-Century modern. The chrome is in very good condition for the age, and the Lucite has some minor scratches. The high density foam is great for the Argenta box shape frames, one feels as if they are resting on a cloud. They blend well with other styles and designers like Eero Saarinen, Florence Knoll, Charles Eames, and Warren Platner.
