Pair of Bielecky Brothers Rattan Wicker Lounge Chairs + Ottoman

About the Item

A substantial three piece woven rattan wicker seating group consisting of a pair of lounge chairs or club chairs and a matching ottoman attributed to Bielecky Brothers, New York. The set is finished in warm honey toned woven wicker over a rattan pole frame accented by a bold braided rattan trim on the border. The chairs feature curved barrel backs, gently sloped arms, and deeply woven basket-form bases, giving the chairs a relaxed and casual profile. The chairs are paired with loose cushions measuring about 5" thick in a striking Fortuny-style coral and gold scrolling vine fabric. The matching ottoman repeats the woven construction and braided trim of the chairs. The chairs are sturdy with solid joinery and construction. The set is constructed in the California Coastal Organic Modern style after pieces by Ralph Lauren, Michael Taylor, and McGuire. The ottoman measures 26" wide, 22.5" deep, and 18" tall. The chair arms measure 22" high. The set is in exceptional condition as seen in photos with a desirable aged patina to the rattan finish. Sold as a set of three pieces, two chairs, and one ottoman. Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Light age-appropriate wear with minor fading from age as seen in photos. Minor chips, scuffs, and natural age cracks on finish that are difficult to see. Upholstery presents well and clean.
