About the Item

Pair of iconic teak and leather 'Elizabeth Chairs' by Ib Kofod-Larsen. These incredibly rare and exquisitely crafted Model U-56 chairs were designed in 1956 and later nicknamed the Elizabeth chair after Queen Elizabeth purchased a pair during a visit to Copenhagen in 1962.

Overall, the leather is in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The foam and webbing needs replacement. Wear consistent with age and use.
