Pair of Renaissance Style Armchairs
About the Item
The pair of Renaissance-style throne or hall chairs have hand carved masks at the tops of the backs, all four are different with faces representing all ages. Hand carved lion faces embellish the ends of the arms while stop fluting runs the lengths of the front legs. Scroll-work braces secure the legs. Also great as impressive head chairs for a dining table. Ready for re-upholstering. We can upholster with custom fabric for a surcharge
A good historical condition with a wonderful warm patina.
