Rare IB Kofod Larsen Penguin Chairs and Ottoman in Leopard Print Appaloosa Hair

About

These desirable IB Kofod Larsen 'Penguin' lounge chairs are the rare lower / wider versions with the extended iron frames and dark walnut stained bentwood backs. The upholstery is real appaloosa (pony) hair in a leopard print pattern. There is a slight disparity in color between the fabric on each chair, one is slightly more off-white than the other and shows minimal signs of loss to the hair (there are minor 'bald spots' where the pale blue suede shows through). The other chair seat only shows loss in one spot on the edge. The set is paired with one, scarcely seen ottoman.
