About the Item
A commanding black-on-black upholstered MC15 Quindici lounge chair by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Mattiazzi, introduced at the 2017 Milan Furniture Fair.
Minimalist statement piece in ash with a satin black ebonized-like finish. Defined by plain, smooth surfaces, balanced angles, and a cantilevered seat. Features Raf Simmons for Kvadrat black wool blend upholstery with a thin profile, creating what Ronan Bouroullec described as a visual “sandwich”.
Represents Mattiazzi’s third collaboration with the renowned French Bouroullec brothers, and the first upholstered lounge chair produced by the prestigious and forward-looking Italian furniture manufacturer, founded in 1979.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Back with a couple burnish marks (not scratches) where something has rubbed against it and made satin finish a bit shinier. Upholstery with minimal signs of use. Tiny bit of play where seat joins base. Additional details/photos provided upon request.
