About the Item

Rare pair of Scandinavian Modern lounge chairs, model “Lehti” (leaf) designed by Carl Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs. Manufactured by Puunveisto Oy - Träsnideri in Finland during the 1950s. The chairs are made from black lacquered tubular metal base. Seats are newly reupholstered, foam and Vidar 3 / 0472 wool fabric by Raf Simons for Kvadrat. Those beautiful seats will bring warmth and comfort in a modern interior living room or bedroom. Moreover they will match perfectly with Scandinavian pieces from designers such as Hans Bergström, Josef Frank, Paavo Tynell, Alvar Aalto, and Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and so on.
