Rare sofa model 105 lounge chairs by Theo Ruth for Artifort produced in 1957.
During the restoration process we discovered the original and amazing abstract 1950's 'Kyoto' Ploeg fabric but unfortunately it was too worn to be used again.
This fabric was designed by American artist Lewin Alcopley.
With thanks to the Artifort Archive we have the original catalogue reference (photo 8).
We totally restored this lovely sofa with new Danish Kvadrat Tonica wool upholstery in a two tone mustard yellow and dark grey as a tribute to the original upholstery we found during the upholstery process.
We have the matching two lounge chairs (listed separately) in stock.
