Wimbledon-Furniture Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite circa 1880 Victorian walnut framed with embossed brown leather upholstery captain’s chair with armorial crest coat of arms depicting Griffons holding a shield Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price This chair is a real tour de force of quality. The leather is embossed from top to bottom, the back rest is finished with a lovely Armorial crest coat of arms depicting two large Griffons holding a shield. All the leather work is secured with oversized bronzed studs. The frame is hand carved solid walnut and looks very nice We have cleaned waxed and polished the chair all over. The frame has been glued clamped and secured. There is slight wear to the arm ends of leather, otherwise it’s in exquisite condition.
