About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage Bevan Funnel Chesterfield directors oxblood leather captains office chair All Bevan Funnell pieces are handmade in England to order, nothing is shelf bought and all materials are sourced within the UK, the hide is premium 100% cattle hide, the stud work is all hand nail tacked using individual antiqued studs, the frame is mostly oak The chair is in good used condition throughout, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, naturally being a used piece the timber legs will have patina scratches and the leather will have some creasing, it all adds to the look and feel There are lots of captains chairs out there, they start with normal traditional models then move up to the executive versions and finally settling on the directors which is what we have here, this chair is for the boss, the owner, the capo di tutti capi!
