The 'Peacock and Squirrel Ottoman' by award-winning, British embroidery artist and designer, Jacky Puzey. This piece is lavishly upholstered with embroidered velvet and appliqué work of silk organza, faux fur and peacock feathers. It is constructed on a wooden frame with brass wheels and comes with a similarly maximalist bolster cushion. As each piece within the edition is made to commission, uniquely bespoke touches are possible (although these may impact the list price quoted). Jacky Puzey creates statement furniture akin to richly textured artworks, combining a material palette of velvet, silk, faux fur, feathers, tweed, silk and organza with digital and hand embroidery. The animal kingdom is a constant source of inspiration, with designs that include ravens, hares, squirrels, koi carp, parakeets and peacocks.
