Wonderful design and superb condition, 1960s hand-crafted bench.
This perfectly symmetrical and straight lined stool is in amazingly good condition and it is as stabile as the day it was handmade. The hand woven webbing seat is in perfect condition as well and besides giving this piece of furniture its extra open look and feel, it also makes this rare bench very comfortable to sit on. Just like the original, 18th century Louis Seize pieces this handcrafted work of beauty too was hand-painted in a chalky mint color which makes it look even more stylish and authentique. This near-antique will look great in a bedroom, on a landing, in an entrance, near a fireplace etc. No matter where you decide to place it, this stylish and timeless stool will never fail to impress.
