Stunning Hitchcock Style Rocking Chair crafted by Nichols & Stone. Splendid black, gold and tan with intricate hand painted flowers. This fabulous chair was crafted by Nichols and Stone in Honor US Civil War General Sylvanus Thayer, the Father of West Point military academy. Features on the back the painted birthplace of Gen. Thayer
Generous size, very comfortable with orange color upholstery. This chair is in great condition. Measurements are 25" wide x 30.5" deep x 43" high. Seat interior depth is 18" and seat interior width is 18", arm high is 25".
