This large living room set known as 'Can Can' is designed by Luciano Frigerio and dates back the 1960s. Characterized by its modularity, this sofa reflects the postwar era's focus on flexible living spaces and comfort. A notable feature of this design that defines the whole set, is the sculptural backrest constructed with a series of evenly spaced wooden slats. This constructive element adds a rhythmic architectural charm, making the set visually striking from all angles. The beige woolen upholstery is intricately draped over the skeleton framework, harmonizing with the lines of the framework. The wooden platform contributes to the substantial and grounded look of the sofa, contouring the clean lines of the elements. The accompanying tables, with their glass tops and wooden frames, come in a set of three. Together, the individual seating units and tables offer versatile arrangements, allowing for seamless adaptation to varying preferences and layouts.
