About the Item

Modular sofa, fabric, brushed aluminum, Italy, 1970s A postmodern design of Italian origin with an ingenious construction comprised of three seating elements and five/six loose backrests ordered in a curved line. Design in the seventies was all about going beyond the strict conventions of modernism, with the exploration of the different qualities of materials, use of pop colors, and peculiar & symbolic appearances as outcome. Clear in line, the body has a simplified appearance, yet the striking upholstery marked by an overall blue tone and decorated with off-white polka dots, give the sofa a vibrant and bold look. The aluminum borders distinguish the contours of the piece. Maximum comfort is guaranteed by means of the thick seating cushions and the large seats.
