A rare find in French Art Deco period pieces! This chic small-scale settee or sofa has the Classic lines of the furniture of the period but is set apart by its unusual details. Its mahogany frame is inlaid with lemon wood and sycamore rosettes on the armrests. Fine lines of inlaid lemon wood frame the legs and lower apron. Its worn vintage velvet upholstery in a black, yellow, and green striped pattern has its own charm but is ready for re-upholstery if desired. An ideal piece for a small living space in an apartment or at the foot of a bed, circa 1920.
