About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning handmade in England high-end Chesterfield three seater sofa with solid legs finished with chrome castors Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only A very good looking and well-made piece, this sofa has the metal fully sprung frame which is the highest quality model, the design goes back hundreds of years and these types of chesterfields are pretty much the only models that are actually comfortable The base platform is coil sprung, what that means is you have rows of vertically mounted coil springs which are hand tied eight ways, hessian padded and supported, the back and sides are also coil sprung as opposed to basic padding so when you sit back you have a nice little set of springs The oak legs are solid to the frame and not later screw ins, they are finished as mentioned with polished chrome castors, you have a middle leg for additional support We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, the sofa is a vintage piece but the leather has a lovely patina Dimensions: Height 70cm Width 208cm Depth 102cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
