This is an antique fireside elbow chair. An English, beech occasional seat, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.
Delightfully figured, low profile occasional chair
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order

Rich caramel hues radiated beneath a quality wax polish finish
Encapsulates the country house appeal, ideal for the lounge or kitchen
Bow-shaped top rail terminates in scrolled ends
Turned spindle back framed by baluster supports
Serpentine arms with broad elbows and scrolled knuckles
Striking circular seat gleams with a reflective brilliance
