Pair of 17th Century English Oak Side Chairs

About the Item

A rare pair of 17th century English oak side chairs having high backs, beautifully carved top rails and wide panelled back splats flanked by turned supports with finials. Original solid wooden seats made of two moulded panels. Traditional stretchers joining the legs, and wonderful scrolled carving to the stretchers across the front.
