About the Item

A fine set of six birdseye maple side chairs with caned seats in the Empire taste, with nicely shaped crests and splats dating to the 19th century. Very good overall condition, two chairs with newer caning, minor edge losses, old crack repairs, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Each chair measures 32.5 in H x 20 in W x 19 in D.
