About the Item
A pair of 1940s modernist lounge chairs. An early example of traditional Danish cabinet making with original black dyed leather upholstery and brass nails framing the back and wooden legs with original matte black paint.
Produced in an era contemporary to works of Flemming and Mogens Lassen, Philip Arctander, Frits Schlegel, Poul Henningsen, Kaare Klint, Ole Wanscher, Viggo Boesen and Frits Henningsen.

Very fine original leather with a few small repairs, missing a few nails as illustrated in image. lightly restored and need no more restoration. One chair slightly more used than second and is as consequence seat is slightly lower. Pressure mark.
