This mid nineteenth century English Victorian period gilded wooden slipper chair has a shaped back with carved foliate motifs, the seat is raised above a curving apron with center flower heads, raised on short cabriole legs in front and splayed legs in back, all with casters. The seat and back retain the original, finely designed and executed needlepoint covering.
