1970s Sofa Set with Jack Lenor Larsen Cotton Velvet Fabric and Chrome Trim

About the Item

This is an outstanding set of two Mid-Century Sofas by Selig, having chromed-steel trim and brightly colored upholstery. The upholstery fabric is printed cotton velvet, designed by textile designer Don Wight and produced by Jack Lenor Larsen. The fabric pattern is known as "Primavera", and it was the first furnishings velvet released by Larsen in 1959. The larger sofa measures 34 inches deep, 84 inches wide, and 25 inches high. The love seat measures 34 inches deep, 60.5 inches wide, and 25.5 inches high.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. There is some fading in spots on the fabric, and there are some spots that blend with the pattern. The chrome shows some flaking on the surface in spots. Overall, this set is in good condition. Please see photos.
