Canapé 3 places scandinave Grete Jalk pour Poul Jeppesen - 1960

About the Item

Scandinavian three-seat sofa designed by renowned Danish designer Grete Jalk and manufactured by Poul Jeppesen (PJ) in the 1960s. This model stands out for the superior quality of its PJ craftsmanship and finishes, making it rarer than the more commonly found France & Søn editions. It retains its original “PJ” and “Danish Furnituremakers’ Control” authenticity medallions. The frame is crafted from solid rosewood, which has been thoroughly cleaned and conditioned. The foam cushions, removable covers, and support straps are all brand new. The newly upholstered textured fabric, in a warm beige/sand color, was carefully selected for its period-correct appearance and feel. The sofa is in excellent, fully restored condition. Dimensions: Width: 190 cm (74.8 in) Depth: 75 cm (29.5 in) Height: 81 cm (31.9 in) Seat Height: 39 cm (15.4 in) Available for viewing in Paris, France.
