A lovely and well-proportioned marquetry sofa with arched back, scroll arms and short Grecian curved legs in mahogany embellished with inlays of festoons, bows, tulips and foliage. Northern Europe, circa 1820.

- Condition:Refinished. Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully restored and French-polished. The sofa has been reupholstered in Robert Allen "Success" natural twill fabric with Lee Joffa "corn flower" gimp. The springs have been re-tied and supportive foam added.
