Louis XV Style French Walnut Sofa

French walnut Louis XV sofa has over 120 man hours invested in its restoration of the wood alone, we totally disassembled the frame thoroughly cleaning each joint, and then we started the laborious chore of putting it back together so that the restoration would be undetectable. We knew we had it when a well-known architect and antique aficionado considered purchasing this for his very own home. The finish is unrestored, and we haven't so much as even waxed it. We did strip the tattered upholstery building a solid foundation for the new fabric using horsehair and down.
