Pair of Sofas Barocchetto Naples, Italy First Half '700
About the Item
Pair of Barocchetto Neapolitan sofas, supported by eight curved and carved legs, the under-the-top shaped band is decorated with sun-shaped
and rocaille carvings, represented again on the backrest, which is also curved; the armrests are shaped and carved with swirls. Entirely gilded with painted silver leaf, the seating and the raised backrest are padded.
