About the Item
Amazing ‘Romantica’ sofa by Piero Ranzani for Elam in rosewood, Italy 1950s.
The straight lines of the wood construction stand out beautifully against the rounded shapes of the cushions and the seating. Some nice detailing can be found back in the distinct shapes of the multilayered legs in rosewood a brass foot that forms a small ridge around the leg. The minimal backrest construction which supports really well because of two strong metal bended plates give the design an open look and allows the sofa to be freestanding in the space. This stunning minimalistic design will elevate any space with luxury and class.
