An Iatmul Orator’s Stool – Papua New Guinea. First half 20th Century The curved back with carved stylised decoration and with a standing female figure with inset cowrie shell eyes and previously with resin/mud to the top of the head, her right arm inscribed MANIAMA, with an oval seat having two ancestor mask supports to a domed base, with earth and white pigments,
