Mid-Century Modern Chrome & Brass X-Form Stool in the Manner of Karl Springer
About the Item
This sophisticated Mid-Century Modernist X-form stool in the manner of Karl Springer was realized in the United States, circa 1970. It features brushed cylindrical chrome legs banded in brass with a brass X-form support at its base and a rectangular apron in the same material. Additionally, it offers a gently domed seat that has been newly reupholstered in champagne velvet. With its sophisticated use of contrasting metallic tones and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly reupholstered and is in excellent condition.
