About the Item
A pair of Italian Rococo style walnut stools from the mid-19th century, with cabriole legs, Saint-Andrew cross stretcher and new upholstery. Each of this pair of Italian Rococo style stools features a square seat, recovered with a simple muslin fabric. Each stool is raised on four elegant cabriole legs connected to one another through a turned Saint-Andrew cross X-form stretcher providing additional support to the stool. With their elegant curvy Rococo lines and lovely walnut patina, this pair of Italian stools, circa 1860 will bring a graceful presence to any home, whether placed next to a sofa or pair of armchairs in a living room or bedroom.
