Pair of Wood and Faux-Leather Stools, France, circa 1950s

About the Item

Striking pair of modernist stools. The bases are painted black (now rather worn) with tapering, block legs, slightly splayed and joined together by foot rests on two different levels. The seats are covered with the original ivory-coloured naugahyde fabric. Good, sturdy structure of pleasant design.
