About the Item

Available to order-12 weeks We created this stool along with many other items for an interior designer's large project in Sydney. He selected our Marron Glacé leather and went tone-on-tone with our brushed brass base. Model: PT41-BS1-Marron Glacé Seat: Leather Seat color: Marron Glacé Base: BS1 Sand cast brass Base finish: Brushed golden sand Dimensions: 52 x 50 x 56 cm; Seat height 46 cm (W x D x H) 20.5 x 19.7 x 19.7 inch; Seat height 18.1 Handmade, available to your order Belgians Pieter Compernol, Stephanie Grusenmeyer and Austrian Florian Gypser designed this chair. You might notice similarities with Paul Kjaerholm's PK9 Tulip chair. No wonder, he is one of our favorite designers. We were naturally inspired by our very own PT2 table base as well. The chair's base is sand-cast by hand in either brass or bronze by Italian bronze-master Armando and his team. Armando is hitting 80 and is truly old school. He even used to work for Salvador Dali!! He is the best possible, and still very much living proof that when we live our passions we stay young! Lead-time 12 weeks This chair model is available to order in either dining-table height, counter-height, and bar-height. There are stool and swivel version available.

Wear consistent with age and use. Since we use reclaimed wood from Vintage Thai houses, the wood may show traces of restoration, some holes might be filled in (from old wooden pegs), or other marks from the wood's past, which in our view add a unique character to each item we create.
