Uneasy Stool by Another Human, Contemporary Acrylic Stool

Designed to create a tension between the piece and the sitter, each detail of the uneasy stool was intentionally crafted to create a sense of anxiety around the form and function of the piece. The lack of fasteners holding up the seat, the Industrial materials used for the cushion, the jagged pieces hovering below the seat and the abnormally high seat height all would suggest that, while the piece is entirely functional as a stool, it is not as inviting as it's playful shapes and colors might suggest.
