Rare original Biedermeier swivel or revolving chair or bergere chair, armchair or club chair from South Germany about 1820.
Cherry veneered and solid. Newly upholstered with black mottled velvet fabric and double keder.
Base on 4 legs with veneered frame. Top rotates 360 degrees with metal swivel mechanism.
Restored and hand polished with shellac, ebonized edge.
Dimensions: H 104 cm, seat H 58 cm, W 68 cm, D 77 cm.
