Mid-19th Century Lincolnshire Stick Back Windsor Chair in Ash and Elm, Original

About

Impressive tall stick back Windsor chair, attributable to the Lincolnshire area, in ash and elm. Lots of the original red stain present and a wonderful grain pattern to the seat. Arm hoop has characterfully misshapen over its 150 or so year life. Still solid and dependable though, circa 1850-1880. Last photo from: Cotton, B., The English Regional Chair, 1990, pg 143.
