Pair of French Art Deco Cherry Red Leather Wingback Chairs
About the Item
Fascinating pair of early 20th century French art deco wingback armchairs featuring a stunning cherry red leather upholstery. The chairs have a mahogany hardwood frame with a unique sculptural style having a flat back and flat wide arms. Embellished with patinated brass tack borders to further accentuate the design. The gracefully curved wings are flat and conjoin to a generous seat with a fitted loose seat cushion. The leather has a desirable aged patina and the chairs are very comfortable. Rare style with excellent solid joinery and craftsmanship full of character and charm.
