The open dovetail structure locks the dense mahogany primary woods of the case together. Two rows of two drawers are situated over a single large drawer, each with original bail pull hardware to match the handles on the sides of the case. The drawer construction is typical of the period with pine secondary woods carefully dovetailed at the joints and the drawer bottoms running perpendicular to the drawer face. The chest interior is 87cm wide x 45cm deep x 30cm high. Condition report - With the original patina and brass wear. There are some knocks and marks expected with a piece of this age.
