About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale 1 of 2 large dwarf open library bookcases circa 1880 in English oak
As mentioned this is one of two, the other is 60cm wider than this one and is listed under my other items, it is not included in this sale
This is a worker day factory used industrial library bookcase, larger and more sturdy than usually with the original finish. It has rails for sliding glass doors should the new owner want to have them fitted
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks all over especially on the top, all in keeping with the age and use

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
