English George III Mahogany Secretaire Breakfront Bookcase
About the Item
For sale is a fine quality George III Mahogany secretaire breakfront bookcase. Have four doors with arched oval glazing bars open to adjustable interior shelves. Below this, the base has a large secretaire drawer to the centre, with a drop front falling to show a fully fitted interior comprising of pigeon holes, a writing surface and drawers, each of which with brass handles. The centre drawer is flanked by a further two drawers on either side with bun handles, above cupboards below. The end cupboards each have a single shelf, and the centre cupboard has two pullout / pull-out trays. The bookcase comes apart into nine pieces for ease of transport and is in very good condition.
