French Art Deco Library Bookcase by Maurice Dufrene

About the Item

A French Art Deco Library bookcase in Mahogany and other exotic veneers, the emblem on the two blind doors is excellent work the cabinet has nine adjustable shelves so plenty of room to fit your favorite books, the glazed central section still has its original hand made glass and also has curtain rail top and bottom if you wanted to have a curtain fitted to match the décor in the room. The cabinet has been restored where necessary and fully polished by hand To the back of the cabinet it is stamped ‘SAD” this is the mark of ‘Société des Artistes Décorateurs’ Maurice Dufrene was a long standing Member. Age: 1920 Style: French Art Deco Material: Mahogany Origin : France Condition: excellent Restoration; Fully polished Dimensions: 142 H x 170 W x 40 D cm.
