Mid-19th Century French Louis Philippe Period Book Matched Walnut Bookcase

This nineteenth century French Louis Philippe period bookcase or vitrine features a solid walnut facade with simple, handsome lines and two doors inset with glass. A panel at the crown is detailed with a book matched pattern. The interior has four shelves that allow for ample storage and display space. Two shelves are made of wood and two of glass. The warm tones of its rich patina lend to its aesthetic appeal. A versatile piece to blend beautifully with all interiors, its body measures 40.5 inches wide by 17 inches deep. Includes one key with functioning lock, circa 1830-1848.
