About the Item
Shelves veneered with real wood and assembled by hand, frame in CRS steel, hand welded and polished, the Severing Bookshelf stands out with its high end materials and fine crafting. Its compact size allows it to fit anywhere, while its seven spacious shelves can be stocked full of books, CDs or DVDs. Its dramatic cantilevered design and premium materials give it a unique character.
Featured in Design Sponge, IDEAT, Marie-Claire Maison, and Stylist… Recipient of several design awards: Label de l’Observeur du Design 2014, Palmarès ArchiDesignClub 2013. Acquired by the French "Mobilier National" in their permanent collection in 2022.
Materials: Frame in cold rolled steel, hand welded and polished, with a choice of mat black powder coated finish, mat white powder coated finish, or rough finish (the rough finish leaves some weld and polishing marks, for an “industrial” look). Shelves in beech plywood, veneered on all surfaces with premium wood veneers: Crowne cut oak or American walnut.
