Pair of 19th Century Regency Rosewood Open Bookshelves

About the Item

A fine quality pair of early 19th century Regency period rosewood open bookshelves, having gilt brass columned superstructures mounted with pierced galleries and inset beading, above brass inlaid moulded edged tops, the shelves flanked by paneled columns mounted with well-cast scroll and flower mounts. The bookshelves with brass-mounted paneled sides supported on unusual square block feet.
